the piercing has to be deeper. you just got 2 milimeters of sking holding the jewellry. you should get it redone and get a minimum of 8 mm. 99% of people posts in this website dont have a clue of piercing placements, lots of them are poorly done

yes, im an expert. i have been piercing for a lot of years. and if you were a good piercer you would know what im talking about. you have to pierce like 8 to 10 mm not 2 like in the picture, thats why you can see most of the the barbell of the jewellry. perfectly done you wiould only be able to see the two balls

Pain wasn't that bad...we marked the points of entry and exit with a sharpie, used a needle first, then enlarged the holes with the actual rings, forcing them through. The hard part was due to the amount of skin we pierced through. It was difficult to line up the holes...took about 10 minutes each side. We actually ended up cutting the outer skin with a knife while forcing the end of the ring through the exit...that was a bit extremem pain wise...bottom line is that they are in deep enough that pulling hard is no big deal....guess he will have to decide for himself?
