I think the tat work is amazing, and for the area that they are in, I think the artist did an amazing job lining everything up to be symmetrical, and the lines are clean and the shading and coloring are out of sight. Makes me want to go to Vegas for another tat, I think I am in love...

Hey folks, this is Greg, Amanda?s husband, and I have to say I am surprised at what people take the interest to post on here. You may not know, but when someone posts something on your tattoo, you get an email telling you there is a new post. So we are always kept ?up to date? on all the posts and ratings and the like. Amanda thinks the mean spirited critical posts are pretty funny; that if writing something insulting on a tattoo page makes someone feel better, then all is well. She is also frankly shocked that her ink keeps coming popping up high in the rankings, even with so many people viewing and voting. I just don?t understand why anyone does it. She put the tattoo up because she is proud of the tattoo, thinks it is gorgeous, and thought that it might help out her friend, a great artist in my opinion, Fred at Tatlantis.com. Amanda has always had larger breasts until two kids and breast-feeding, and then she just didn?t like they way she looked. She is something of an athlete now with low body fat and her breasts just weren?t the way she wanted them and to make them how she wanted? caused scaring around her nipples, a complication that happens in some cases; evidently nipples are very hard to deal with surgically. So as she is a tattoo addict, her first thought was a new tattoo to cover the scaring, a rather common, physician recommended way to deal with nipple scarring actually, and decided to go with something she and Fred thought beautiful. I agree with them. I think the tattoo is awesome and if it were on her arm would definitely be an award winner; Fred?s work is superb. I think what surprises me is how angry people seem, like they are offended. No one seems to write mean things to the guys with skulls on their heads or the hard-core hand and palm and face ink. Amanda has a job where she is not allowed to have visible tattoos, and that has left slightly non-traditional places (Fred also did great work on her tummy tuck scar ? which is also an interesting side note for you tattoo fans ? Fred?s work on scars, a particularly difficult area of tattooing that many conscientious artists will not do, is incredibly articulate). So thanks to all the people who liked the tattoo and any of you who might check Fred out, and for the rest, well, I can only hope you guys are as happy with your bodies and your ink as Amanda is, while her tattoo may not be something everyone digs, it has made Amanda very happy and only fed her ink addiction. And after all, aren?t tattoos about making the people who own and display them feel more centered and grounded in life, more happy and a little bit more of who they are? That has definitely been the case with Amanda. Thanks again Fred.

My wife and I agree, those are great looking tatts. Very elegant and artfull, if that's a word, not over the top at all. My wife says more power to you, for she knows what a couple of kids will do to your breast especially if you had larger ones to start out with. Well when I first saw the pic, I never even noticed the nipples in the middle. It is done so well that they look completely covered over, which is a great accomplishment of the artist!! I thought it was a bra, which shows how well I pay attention on first glance..LMFAO. Anyway you had a great idea for covering up scars which can be very unattractive. It kind of looks egyptian.
